DESCRIPTION:Following on from the fascinating talk on coppicing by Dave Dibden at our September social\, we are having a walk at Pondhead to see the coppicing for ourselves. Dave has agreed to lead us and provide information as we go. \nWe are meeting and parking at the Crown Stirrup inn on the south side of Lyndhurst on the road towards Brockenhurst. There is direct access to the forest from the pub. After the walk we can have lunch at the pub. To participate please contact Di and provide your choice of food at least one week ahead. \nTimes are approximate and will be confirmed nearer the date.
