SUMMARY:Annual Exhibition of Woodcarvings
DESCRIPTION:This is the Big One!\nLast year we only had the hall for the afternoon. This time we have the hall for the whole day. Set up from 9-10am\, open to the public 10-4\, take down 4-5pm.\nWe will aim to have a large display of carvings (please do not touch)\, a ‘touch table’ (please handle with care)\, a sales table\, and demonstrations of carving techniques. Visitors are invited to vote for their favourite piece\, so all carvings (except those on the the touch table) will have a number given them.\nMaggie Port has created a beautiful wren\, mounted so as to hang on a wall. This could be yours for a £1 prize draw ticket – only available to buy on the day. The draw will take place at 3.30pm.\nThere is a cafe at St Andrews that is open until 2pm. We will have use of the kitchen for ourselves to get cups of tea\, etc.\nThis is a great showcase for the club and is clearly appreciated by our visitors.
