SUMMARY:Marchwood Fete
DESCRIPTION:This takes place at the Lloyds Recreation Ground in Marchwood and attracts large numbers of local people. It is a great opportunity to show off what we do\, attract new members and promote our annual exhibition on 9 August.\nWe have booked a double pitch so will need a few people to help put up and take down the small marquee. Arrive about 9am to assemble marquee and set up a table with a small number of carvings for display. No cars to leave after 11 but we can park at the edge of the field.\nFeel free to bring along some carving to do – on your lap or with a portable workbench.\nPlease wear a club top if you have one – it gives our stand an identity.\nThere are lots of activities for you to roam around\, plus food\, arena activities\, etc.\nIt generally packs up about 4pm after the prize draw.
