SUMMARY:Annual Club Exhibition
DESCRIPTION:This is our BIG DAY at St Andrews. The intention is to raise awareness of the club and encourage new members.\nSet up at 10am. Open to the public 11am -3pm. Dismantle by 4pm. \nWe take over the main hall and set up tables around the edge and in the middle. We aim to have about 100-150 carvings on display for the public to see the range of topics\, styles and woods. These are not for touching. There will also be a central Touch Table with robust carvings on that can be “handled with care”.\nA small selection of carvings will go onto one table and visitors and members are encouraged to vote for their favourite. There is no prize: this is just for fun. \nAs previously there will be a prize draw for a carving (this year made by Paul) and a sales table.  \nMembers are encouraged to demonstrate carving/whittling/sanding/pyrography techniques: this is always a hit with visitors.
