This is the Big One!
Last year we only had the hall for the afternoon. This time we have the hall for the whole day. Set up from 9-10am, open to the public 10-4, take down 4-5pm.
We will aim to have a large display of carvings (please do not touch), a ‘touch table’ (please handle with care), a sales table, and demonstrations of carving techniques. Visitors are invited to vote for their favourite piece, so all carvings (except those on the the touch table) will have a number given them.
Maggie Port has created a beautiful wren, mounted so as to hang on a wall. This could be yours for a £1 prize draw ticket – only available to buy on the day. The draw will take place at 3.30pm.
There is a cafe at St Andrews that is open until 2pm. We will have use of the kitchen for ourselves to get cups of tea, etc.
This is a great showcase for the club and is clearly appreciated by our visitors.
